Econolight LED High Bay: STRATOS (project lamp)

The Econolight Stratos was our first, trusted lamp suitable for large scale projects. With technology moving at a rapid pace, we needed a lamp design that wasn’t going to let us down when other competitors were cutting corners with components and untrusted supply chain.

We took the best driver on the market (Mean Well, from Taiwan) and paired it with the top Japanese LED chip at the time (Nichia) and built them into a solid aluminium alloy housing with excellent heat dissipation to protect the LED array. The result was a really dependable lamp that had excellent long-term performance for our clients.

To this day, we have Stratos still burning in the ceilings of our clients having paid themselves off many times over. It remains a more expensive product nowadays as technology has caught up with other trusted components but as far as the initial benchmark of dependability goes, not much gets past this incredible lamp.
