This standard open channel fitting uses T5 28W germicidal UV-C tubes. The 254nm wavelength is effective against most viruses, bacteria, moulds (powdery mildew) and pests (dust mites, etc), including having shown postive results in the inactivation of the SARS-CoV-2 virus!
